Wintee.

This post is specially delicated to Wintee,
my little terror, Niki's accompanion, my family's love, baby's son!

I have tons of individual posts writing about Niki and his growing up stages, but this will be the first one for Wintee. Because after 6 months, (Yes, today is the official 6th month) being around with me and my family, he is officially important to all the members of my family and somewhere in our heart, he lies with a privilege.

I went to view him once, right before I decided to bring him home.

19.08.2011
I found Winter through Locanto, this very owner putting his 1 year old West Highland Terrier up for adoption for 900SGD !!?? I was curious.. There wasn't much information about him online, therefore I texted him asking if I could view him. I didn't think of anything else, but just wanted to take a look, no harm anyways.

So I brought Niki along. This was the first time they met. Looking at the way Niki wants to play with him, made me smile.

My purpose to find another dog is to keep Niki accompanied, especially when we are all out. Niki can be so sticky and emotional that he will make all sorts of funny noise, cry and whine when we are preparing to leave home. He is not a food dog, so it didn't help by leaving treats for him. He just cry and cry and sit at the door waiting.

But he was way over my budget.
I thought Winter has been taken so I didn't check back with him. So he told me he is willing to let go at a lower the price after 3 weeks.

Sze peh went with me to collect Winter and his stuff. :)
05.09.2011 - I brought Winter back.

His first night was horrible.
Both of them didn't sleep, and they don't allow me to sleep.
T.T

06.09.2011I took "MC" the following day because I was SO lazy to go to work. Plus, I am so excited over Winter that I didn't want to work. I know that's bad, but I dont care.

We brought Winter to grooming at Yishun. They did a good job, Niki had his Basic grooming and Winter was totally shaven down due to his bad skin.

And he really look clean, except for his eyes.
He have bad, very bad tear stains and it's all inflammed.
His nose was close to bald.

They played alot, eat alot and sleep alot together. Playing makes them tired, made Niki hungry, and Niki started eating better, and not so fussy anymore due to competitor.

10.09.2011

Sze Peh and I 'celebrated' Mid-Autum for them, they had Mooncakes for dogs bought from Vivo! Winter really ate alot...... :)

And they are real buddy. They stick together the whole time.

11.09.2011

And finally, I brought Winter for his first Medical Check Up at Namly on the 17 September, together with little Cotton! We collected little Cotton! :)

He was on anti biotic and some eye drops, some cream etc for his bad skin. So I applied his eye drops 3 times a day as instructed, and dabbed some powder onto him, and he looks great!!

After almost one month of medication, LOOK! His tear stains gone, and fur growing back! I was so so happy to see the cute side of him. And when I look back at his photo, I can't think of any reason why I took him back.

And he was really daring. :)
